The development strategy for institutes of higher education with the use of the intelligent decisions support system
Our work is dedicated to the development strategy for institutes of higher education with the use of the intelligent decision support system (on the example of technical institutes of higher education).
The overall research objectives are the following (slide 1):
1. to identify factors that contribute to current development of higher education;
2. to determine amenability of acceptance of factors that contribute to current development of higher education;
3. to search and test acceptability of key concepts of intelligent decision support in a changing world and the ever-increasing demands for higher education;
4. to record advantages and disadvantages of using intelligent decision support to facilitate decision making in the field of higher education.
Our scope of study includes:
1) the current state of a higher education system in each country;
2) prospects for a strategic development of each country;
3) the applicability of intellectual decision support in each country:
4) identification of advantages and disadvantages of using the system in various aspects of the educational system in each country.
The main problem of the study is to learn the effectiveness of IDSS use within the institutions of higher education; the impact of IDSS use on the economic (financial), technical, social and political efficiency of institutions of higher education. Also, the research problem is the study of the need for strategic development in the structure of higher education.
The main tasks of the modern education system are:
1) upbringing of creative thinkers who possess high creative potential
2) creating a new technological wave, new means of a constant knowledge updating and new thinking to solve the problems
3) implementation of educational and professional programs of professional education by creating the necessary conditions for this.
The main features of the modern education system are:
1) based on traditional didactics which considers learning as a process of deterministic objective development
2) being a participant of an emergence process of a new global community
3) being one of the most important factors affecting development of the country as a whole
IDSS is the information system which contributes and assists the human beings’ process of decision-making
