Life after people

What would happen if all the people on earth disappeared? The disappearance of people may look like science fiction, but such a day could really come – day when people will no longer walk on the ground. 

Every generation has its own stories about the apocalypse. However, we are the first generation that can intentionally cause our end. What happens after people? This is the most natural question in the world. But the most interesting question is whether it will be good or bad for the earth, for nature, for all life around. Obviously, Mother Nature will be in charge here now. Grass, trees, weeds and other greenery will grow everywhere. And what about the destruction that will follow when people disappear? What about factories? Power plants? And what about works of art? It's funny, but once people have disappeared, nobody will care. Buildings are going to collapse. Works of art without proper supervision will deteriorate, rot and lose their splendor forever.
