THE ATTITUDE OF UNIVERSITY FEMALE STUDENTS TO CONTRACEPTION IN GENERAL AND ITS METHODS ACCORDING TO THE SURVEY OF UNIVERSITY FEMALE STUDENTS
Relevance of the topic. Women's reproductive health depends mainly on two groups of factors: 1) the state of the female reproductive system; 2) women's overall health. Proper contraception is directly related to reproductive health.
Purpose of the study: find out the attitude of university students to contraception in general and its methods.
Results: The question about sexual experience was answered in the affirmative by 62.4%. Among the respondents, 76.9% plan to have children someday, 13.9% are undecided. Oral contraceptives were used by 16.7%. The age at which contraception was started varied: 14 years (2,22%); 16-17 years (35,5%); 18-19 years (37,7%); 20-21 years (20,14%); 22-26 years (4,44%). The following methods of contraception were used: condoms (81.4%); biological or calendar method (24.4%); interrupted sexual intercourse (16.3%); oral contraceptives (4.7%); intrauterine devices (1.2%). Postcoital contraception (emergency contraception) was used 15.4%. These drugs (Postinor, Escapel) were used only once by 10.8%, more than 1 time – 5.9%; no used – 83.3%.

Relevance of the topic. Women's reproductive health depends mainly on two groups of factors: 1) the state of the female reproductive system; 2) women's overall health. These factors are interdependent, i.e. a woman's commitment to a healthy lifestyle contributes to the preservation of gynecological health. An important role in maintaining reproductive health, according to the literature, is played by the rejection of bad habits, in particular, from tobacco smoking.
Purpose of the study: find out the attitude of female university students to smoking.
Materials and methods: Based on the original questionnaire consisting of 22 questions, a survey of 115 female students of the 1st-6th courses of the Grodno State Medical University was conducted in December 2020.The age of 17-20 years old – 81.8%; 21-23 years old – 16.4%; more than 23 years old – 2.7%. It was found out the prevalence and intensity of smoking among female students.
