INTRODUCTION
Physical education plays a vital role in people’s development and growth. Physical wellbeing is directly related to his or her performance. The optimal physical education program will foster a lifetime commitment to physical activity as part of a healthy lifestyle.
People often assume that physical education is sport education. However, physical education is defined as a process of education through physical activity. The goal is the development of individuals acquired through experience of motion. In a broader context, physical education is defined as a process of learning through physical activities designed to improve physical fitness, develop motor skills, knowledge and behavior of healthy and active living, sportsmanship, and emotional intelligence.
Obesity is a very common problem faced, which if not taken care of in time, can lead to many lifestyle diseases such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Engaging in physical activities help to burn calories and lose fat. Regular exercising builds muscles, makes the immune system strong and improves upon stamina. This increases the fitness levels and keeps various diseases and health conditions in check.
Aerobic exercise is any kind of continuous activity that lasts for more than 20 minutes, and increases the blood supply and oxygen delivery to all tissues. Aerobic exercise is one of the most beneficial things that one can do for his or her entire body. Research shows that it markedly decreases chronic pain, including pain from the neck and back. People, who are aerobically fit, have much less pain than people who are not.
Thus, the purpose of the work is to demonstrate figure correction by means of fitness and aerobics.
CHAPTER 1. FITNESS
Maintaining a healthy body is not that easy and not so difficult either. There is a need to be healthy because unhealthy body will be attacked by many diseases.
Most important tip for a healthy body is to have healthy food and eat them at proper time. Avoid eating junk food. None of the nutrients is available in these junks foods so no point in having them. The diet should contain food which has more nutrients. It is necessary to include leafy vegetables, fresh vegetables, fruits, milk, and fish in the daily diet. Breakfast is very important. Skipping it regularly will definitely affect the health. If water content in the body goes low then it will lead to dehydration. Therefore, to keep the body healthy one should drink more amount of water daily.
Exercise also pays a vital role in keeping the body healthy. By exercise, it doesn’t mean a simple and slow walk. It should be in such a way that the body should start sweating. It can be running, cycling, walking faster etc. It is necessary to find 30 minutes to one hour per day for your exercise.
Most people due to stress at work have health problems. By controlling it one can maintain a healthy body. Bad habits like smoking, drinking, using of drugs should be avoided. Usage of these items will have a very bad effect on health. The body should get enough time to take rest. It is necessary to sleep of 8 hours daily. Sleep is very important for healthy body and for mental and emotional happiness.
Fitness and health seems to be same for everyone but they have entirely two different meanings. Fitness can be defined as the physical ability to perform work, sports etc. with ease. While health is a condition, in which the body should have resistance capacity from all illness and all parts of the body should works fine without any problem. The body should possess both fitness as well as health. Men and women are equally concerned about their body. They want their body to be fit and healthy.
Due to more demand for fit and healthy body, many gyms and work out centers are opened. To maintain a healthy and fit body primarily requires self-control and will power. Many factors can divert from achieving the goal of having a fit and healthy body. However, one should never deviate and focus on it and try achieving their goal as all knows Health is wealth.
CHAPTER 2. AEROBICS AND ITS TYPES
Most people on the planet want to have healthy, beautiful body. Nature has not endowed all with ideal forms. One have to achieve results through their own efforts. There is a huge number of classes of such a useful hobby: team games, acrobatics, swimming, athletics, wrestling, shaping, yoga, fitness and many others.
Aerobics is very popular today. This is a complex of physical exercises that combines body movements and respiratory exercises, which is aimed at combating excess weight, nervous overexertion and exhaustion, impaired functions of the body (blood circulation, digestion, respiration and musculoskeletal system). This is not only a therapeutic sport, but also a wonderful hobby.
One of the surefire ways to ensure fitness is aerobics. Termed as any long duration exercise of low, moderate to high intensity, aerobics makes use of the large muscle groups of the body such as legs, back, arms etc. These include walking, swimming, cycling, dancing, workout on treadmill and rowing machine. The duration of such exercise may extend from 20 minutes to one hour. It is possible to do aerobic activities, regardless of your age. However, the intensity and duration of the exercises will depend upon the stamina and age. Apart from ensuring physical fitness, a number of health benefits are associated with aerobics.
Exercise is a wonderful way to give oneself and emotional lift or to burn off stress from a hectic day. Physical activity stimulates the release of various brain chemicals that can leave the feeling happier and more relaxed. When one exercises, the body puts out chemicals called endorphins. These are naturally occurring morphine-like substances that the body produces in response to pain. Endorphins are the substance that probably give marathon runners a “runner’s high”. This natural pain killing substance is produced in large amounts in people who exercise on a regular basis. In addition, regular aerobic exercise improves the cardiovascular function.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, physical education is very important as it helps with teaching of a healthy lifestyle, keeps the body active and promotes long life. Lack of physical education has its disadvantages as it can promote various diseases, lead to obesity and more susceptible to mental issues such as depression or dementia. When relating to swimming specifically, physical education can help with technique and necessary stretches and eating habits required to be more developed on that skill.
Years of experience and practical activity indicate that purposeful physical training is an effective mean of removing mental tension, improving mental capacity and caring for health in difficult conditions of people’s life.
Doing both aerobics and fitness at the obligatory classes of physical education training has positive influence on the somatic state of health, contributes to improvement of the physical qualities, correction of figure, posture, and improves the emotional state.
Only through an interest in personal development and self-improvement, one is able to reach healthy lifestyle on his own.
What the youth like is the combination of music and movements as the component part of aerobics training, and draws attention to it by its emotionality and opportunity to improve one’s physical condition.
Being engaged in physical culture, one gets motor skills necessary in daily life and in work. Physical education develops agility, speed and strength of the body movements, improves control of movements, which is carried out by the central nervous system. During physical exercises, more and more conditioned reflexes are formed, which are fixed and formed into long successive rows. The body acquires the ability to better adaptation to large and more complex physical activities. One can more easily and more economically exercise movements.
